A reminder of warmer days!

Blue Shutter and Clutter is a painting I've been meaning to do for a few years.  I took the theme from a window I espied while in Gourdon near Grasse, France.  However, to improve on the title I added some bits and pieces and repositioned others that were actually there.  I was in two minds as to whether to make the wall fairly plain but decided gently-suggested irregular blocks of different shades of sandstone gave it more of a feeling of somewhere rustic and sun-soaked.

It is a reminder not to forget to look up as inspirational things are lurking up there!
