Ken Howard
Yesterday was the Private View of the Armed Forces Art Society annual exhibition at The Mall Galleries, London SW1.  The exhibition looks tremendous and the Out of Line contemporary part in the Threadneedle space in the gallery is our best yet.

My fellow Painter-Stainer, Professor Ken Howard RA came by during the afternoon to select a painting to receive the Worshipful Company of Painter Stainers prize.  He spent a long time looking and great care choosing.

The exhibition was opened once again by Kate Adie.  She last did us the honour in 2006 when I was Chairman.  Clearly, she's worn better than me!
